The Bishop Jensen Fund is a perpetual endowment fund, established to honor Bishop Herluf Jensen.  This fund is to serve New Jersey ELCA congregations to establish or support:

1. Adult Day Care,
2. Respite Care for Seniors,
3. or other activities involving our senior citizens. 

This fund is managed by the New Jersey Synodical Women’s Organization of Women of the ELCA.

Requests for grants shall be submitted on designated forms to the New Jersey Synodical Women’s Organization of Women of the ELCA. 

1. Families and organizations shall be the recipients of grant funds only once during a three year period, when funds are available for distribution. 
2. Award Amounts will be at the discretion of the executive board with awards of up to $1,000.00. 
3. Total monies dispersed will equal no more than 75% of the interest money available.
